These words are functions. <BR/>Apostle = sent ones (sent to plant churches)<BR/>Pastor = shepherd<BR/>Prophet = one who prophesies<BR/>Evangelist = spreads good news<BR/><BR/>There are some today that would say apostles and prophets don't exist because we now have the Bible to replace them. There is nothing in the Bible that delares such a strange view.<BR/><BR/>Ephesians 2:19,20 declares them to be foundation builders with Jesus as the chief cornerstone. And Jesus declared that He would build His church.
